Dinner-Concert - Fogo Fogo

The birthplace of Fogo Fogo is vibrant and special: it is a Lisbon that accommodates all of Africa, especially that which speaks Portuguese, both the future and the past. A place where it is still possible to find the obscure gems of authorial editing that the Cape Verde diaspora recorded and that the world has never heard. This is the Lisbon that, like a volcano, expelled Fogo Fogo.

The project by Francisco Rebelo (bass), João Gomes (keys), Edu Mundo (drums), Danilo Lopes (voices/guitar) and David Pessoa (voices/guitar) represents the experienced and energetic strength of these musicians who have long accustomed us to these stages outside. The five together have a career spanning almost 120 years. Each of them has immense talent, consolidated by years of experience on some of the biggest stages in the world.
