Tiago Bettencourt, one of the most prominent names in the Portuguese music, was born in 1979 in Coimbra. He grew up in Lisbon and, in 2001, founded the iconic band Toranja, which quickly won the hearts of the Portuguese people. Their debut album, “Esquissos”, sold over 60,000 copies and solidified the band’s success. 

Tiago pursued a solo career after the band ended in 2006 and, in 2014, released the acclaimed “Do Princípio”, an album that reflected his musical evolution and artistic maturity. In 2022, he embarked on his first solo tour, delivering intimate and unforgettable concerts to his audience.
