Opus One is considered one of the best blends in California at a global level. The founders—Robert Mondavi, a man who helped transform the history of California wines, and Baron Philippe de Rothschild, renowned for producing Bordeaux's Château Lafite, one of the world's most expensive wines—established it in 1979.
This tasting event on the 23rd will feature the incredible presence of Charlie Matthews (Export Director) and Michael Silacci (Opus One Winemaker), who will share the winery's story from its present to its beginnings in 1979.
